Luke 3:16
John the Baptist, as great as he was, offered the best that he could by baptizing with water. Only Jesus Christ can offer us more by filling us with the Holy Spirit and fire, setting us free from the things that are holding us captive.
We allow so many things to hold us back from receiving and walking in all that God has for us. God wants us to experience all of him, nothing standing in the way. Do you want to be free today? Allow Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit. Not just enough for you, but also enough for the people that you come in contact with. May you walk in total freedom today and receive the best gift of all this Advent season, the Holy Spirit.
