Luke 1:17 says, “ And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous- to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
During this Advent season, it’s a time where families come together and enjoy the presence of family, and reflect and appreciate all that God has done. For some, parents or children may be distant physically or spiritually and you don’t have the opportunity to enjoy the presence of family. May this scripture become a prayer for you or someone that you know. God is with you and wants to turn the hearts of families together and mend them in such a way that they cannot be broken.
