Bring all who claim me as their God, for I have made them for my glory. It was I who created them. Isaiah 43:7
The Gospel starts with God
We will study the Gospel (good news of Jesus) message for the next couple of weeks. Many times when people start the gospel message they start with themselves. However, the gospel always starts with God. We have to acknowledge that there is a God who created the universe with a purpose. Isaiah 43:7 gives us that purpose. Everything and everyone was made to bring glory to God. Our purpose in this life is to bring glory to God. Sin comes into the world when anyone decides to do “anything” that does not bring glory to God.
Part of bringing glory to God is acknowledging that God is almighty and all-powerful. This is why we must start the gospel with God, because we must understand that we have failed to fulfill our life purpose in bringing glory to the almighty God. The gospel is good news because none of us fulfilled this requirement. There have been many times is our lives that we did not bring glory to God. Thank God for Jesus who fulfill this purpose on our behalf. As you share the gospel with your friends and family always start with almighty God and the purpose to bring Him glory at all times.
