In our scripture reading, we begin reading where Paul was now standing trial before King Agrippa. As Paul pleads his case and tells of his conversion, he tells that God has appointed him to open the eyes of the ones that didn’t know him, from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins.

We live in a very dark world. There are many eyes that need to be opened to the things of God. As Christians, we shouldn’t desire for anyone to stumble in the dark, but to show them the light, which is God’s truth. John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Paul’s job is a job for all who believe in Jesus. Turn on the light for someone who is stumbling in the dark.
