God’s Power to Pray For

Lord Jesus, I cannot say I love You and choose sin and selfishness in my actions today.  Help me bend to how great and holy You are. Here is what I will do differently today that will reflect that You are greater than anything I fear, want, or need:

Holy Spirit, show me how to savor Your presence and enjoy Your goodness. Show me the ways You made me to especially enjoy Your company and Your greatness. I want to worship You in spirit and truth today. Here are some of the things I enjoy most about You:

Holy Spirit, I want Jesus to be what my heart seeks today. Fill me with a heart of worship as I pray the Lord’s prayer to begin the day.

Lord Jesus, I pray that I will live this day truly understanding that I am part of Your family that cannot fail. I especially give You these places in my life where I tend to feel alone and like an orphan with no family or Father to count on …
