As we finish up our “Summer to Know God Better” reading series in Isaiah remember that: God is GOOD. God is LOVE.
God’s goals and plans for us are ALWAYS GOOD. (1 JOHN 4:8)
HE created us for RELATIONSHIPS and to be conformed into His IMAGE. (Romans 8:29-30) *To be like Jesus and to become light to a dark world and to know that God’s ways are HIGHER than our ways. (Isa 55:9).
We are those beloved sons and daughters that God loves. And as his children, because HE loves us, He will discipline us, set up those boundaries for us and point us towards desiring HOLINESS and PURITY.
Jesus was our model when he sent us out to be HIS ambassadors, HE sends us to: Preach the good news to the poor to HEAL the brokenhearted Deliver the captives Restore sight to the blind Set at liberty those who are bruised.
In this season of Rain at Cornerstone, lets remember this verse:
Sow with a view to righteousness,
Reap in accordance with kindness;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord
Until HE comes to rain righteousness on you.
