HERE WE GO!
Because Jesus is such a blessing to our lives we can’t help but want to share Him with the world! This week is our targeted time to go out into the community through our “Jesus Is Buying You Dinner” outreach! This gives Cornerstone families a tangible way to be a witness to our community and get them thinking about who Jesus is.
FOUR THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Include a hand written card. Ask the Lord for what to share and any specific scriptures to include.
- Pray. Pray. And then Pray! Let’s commit some family time to pray for the individuals we’ll be blessing. Pray that this simple act of kindness will help them consider Jesus and that many hearts will be turned to Him in faith. It is one of our greatest callings to intercede for those who don’t know Christ! I Timothy 2:1 – “…first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.”
- Share the story. We’d love to hear how God is using your gift to touch others! Share on Facebook with the hashtag #jesusis so we can be praying and believing with you for God to do GREAT things in our community.
- Follow-up. Don’t let the outreach stop here! In the next few weeks check back in with your selected family to continue building relationships.
