Our – sins separate us from God
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
In physical death, there is a separation between our body and our soul. When we die physically, our bodies go into a grave and our spirit is separated from our body and goes back to Him. In this scripture we find the same separation. God’s laws require that a price be paid for our sin. The “cost” of our sin is spiritual death, and spiritual death, is separation from God.
Sin separates us from God. When we stay in our sins we separate ourselves from him who knew no sin. Jesus’ death on the cross “paid” the price for our sin. Accepting him is what gives us eternal life. Choose to break the power of sin by faith in Him.
