There has never been an age so focused on itself as this one. It is in our songs, advertisements, entertainment, news, and schools, it seems to be everywhere, Jesus tells us the simple truth.
If we want a full life, one with meaning and relevance, we must die to ourselves. So much of what we want to do for God we try to do by ourselves. Our motives are right. Our heart is right but our identity gets involved in pulling off OUR plans. Jesus reminds us that there is no harvest without death. Jesus submitted everything, including his fears and his friends, to the will of God. It won Him the harvest. What do you need to surrender to God today?
