Instantaneous! That’s how we want to get through the Wall. God has His own timetable for moving us forward. We think nothing’s happening, God’s working out patience, maturity, dependency & intimacy in us. He has a reason for making us wait. Just pick up your bible & glance through the stories of Noah, Moses, Joseph, Daniel, and Paul – even Jesus. Waiting causes us to slow down, readying our spirits for moments of grace that we might miss rushing by at top speed. Take heart – while we may not understand or like waiting, God never asks us to wait without Him!
