Jesus Christ is Alive & Pouring

The risen King is alive and pouring. We see Jesus filled the believers with the gift of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. This gift was not just meant for the early believers, but for all those who live in these last days. The gift of the Holy Spirit empowers believers to overcome sin and to share the gospel with those who are without Christ. A new day has arrived and the body of Christ increases rapidly. Will you resolve to know the gift of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life?

Jesus is alive- In Acts 2, we see the believers shared fellowship by praising the Lord together. This brought about mutual edification and joy among the believers. Lives were transformed to know Jesus in increasing measure.

Jesus is pouring- The shared fellowship the early believers embraced led to an increasing of the numbers of people being saved (Acts 2:47). God did not intend for the believers to keep the gift of the Holy Spirit to themselves, he intended for them to live with the tension of proclaiming God’s message of salvation to the lost.

Read Acts 2. We receive the Holy Spirit when we invite Jesus to be alive inside of us (Romans 6:23). The Holy Spirit compels us to continually draw close to Jesus (Ephesians 4:20-24). Then, we discover our need for fellowship in the body of Christ (Acts 2:42). Resolve today to share the gift of the Holy Spirit with others. He is alive and pouring out His Spirit on you!
