At one time or another, we’ve all felt like Moses. We felt like a nobody, we felt unqualified, or we felt like giving up. But when God calls you, He will put exactly what you need in your hands. Do you have faith in the mission God has for you? Consider the following three thoughts:
Vs. 4:1-9- God will uniquely equip you to do what He’s called you to do. Moses didn’t think the Israelites would follow his leading. But God called Moses to make possible choices so that God could do impossible works through Moses.
Vs. 4:10-12- God will use you in your weaknesses. Christ becomes greatly magnified in us when He uses you in spite of your weakness. Moses wasn’t a great speaker, yet God used Moses to establish the 10 Commandments among his people.
Vs. 4:13-18- God will still use you when you feel like giving up. God would not let Moses endure more than he could handle. God provided Aaron to Moses to help Moses in his weakness. In the same way, we can depend on Jesus to help us in our weaknesses.
What has God put in your hand? Often times, God will compel us to operate outside of our comfort zone or set of natural abilities. This is so that we would learn to fully depend on Christ to lead us in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Read Galatians 5:25. Choose to surrender to yourself and your own inadequencies. This way, you may be free to fully depend on the Holy Spirit and what He puts in your hand.
