“For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile – the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:12-13
It might as well be screaming out to me, “Give yourselves COMPLETELY to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life”. How many of us can honestly declare that statement? How do you know if you have given yourself completely? Do we really understand what Paul meant?
Pretty tough questions but there’s one answer for them all which is simple: Completely means to bring every decision before God and measure it against the plumb line of His Word. As Christians, we are called to live a certain way. A new job with higher wages connects to stewardship of finances. Considering moving? As Christians we are called to be connected to the body to uplift one another and use our gifts fully – so where will you get “plugged in”?
God’s Word covers every human circumstance. If you have a decision to make – trust me, God has something to say about it. This requires a submission to His Will and actively choosing to seek Him, training our hearts and ears to listen for the answer. Continual relationship with the Spirit is essential. God is always reaching out toward His children to favor them, bless them. Don’t wait any longer – call out to Him today.
