“He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.” (John 1:10)
Jesus can be hazardous to your social standing! A radical shift from darkness to light. I can’t imagine choosing to remain in darkness after “meeting” Jesus. Many do … fear binding them to life in this world and appearances instead of life everlasting. I chose darkness for a time. Surrendering control to a higher authority was not on my agenda when I ran head on into Jesus. I didn’t understand how Jesus chose to die for my sins and wanted to create in me a new heart. But as I yield to the Spirit, God renews my mind, reveals His plan and urges me to reach out. To who? Everyone! Family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends. People are lost and the conduit God is waiting to use to reach their heart is YOU! Take a grace moment. Don’t let today draw to a close without investing in another life.
If you are the person God has chosen to use but remain silent – how will they see Jesus?
