Exodus 33:13-14 says, “Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found Grace in your sight, show me now your ways, that I may know you, that I may find Grace in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people. And He said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” KJV
Moses’ prayer focus was that he may find grace, God’s free and unmerited favor, on his journey. He was desperate to find the path that God wanted Him to go in and that he may truly know him. “And He said, my presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.” (vs. 14)
As you are on your journey this Advent season, may you find rest in the presence of God and his unmerited favor. Rest on the promise that you are not walking this journey alone. His presence is with you. Make it your prayer today, ask him to show you his ways, as His presence is with you and guiding you. Whatever you need, you’ll find in his presence.
