Moses was a man who was considered one of the greatest prophets that ever lived. He was a close friend of God and a man that spoke face to face with God; a privilege that no one has ever seen since Deuteronomy 34:12. God revealed great plans to Moses and God even allowed Him to see the plans, but not enter the Promise Land. Although Moses had mountain top experiences with God, He chose to disobey God and suffered the consequence of his disobedience. Deut. 34:4, “Then the Lord said to him, this is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.”
God has great plans for each of us, but when we disobey we can delay or miss out completely on all the great things He has planned for our lives; it doesn’t matter our title or position. Don’t let disobedience get you a bird’s eye view of those plans, but choose to walk into it.
