Ministry Teams are groups of people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. Whether creating a comfortable environment, leading the next generation, starting Small Groups or partnering for outreach—our missions are simple– find the one God is seeking and lead them into the Kingdom.

Ways to Serve
Hospitality
The Hospitality Team makes sure everyone feels welcome. On this team you can change someone’s day simply by offering a smile and a “welcome home.”
Positions
We want to welcome people from the first moment they are on the property and ensure that they have a smooth and efficient parking experience.
Time: 1 hour,
Age: 14+
Be one of the first faces to welcome all our guests and members. Your warm smile can make such a huge difference in making our Sundays feel like family.
Time: 1 hour
Age: 12+
Our main goal is to maintain a distraction-free service environment. Greet people as they enter the sanctuary and direct them to available seats. We also facilitate offering, communion and perform other tasks during the service as needed.
Time: 2 hour
Age: 14+
Cornerstone Kids
If you love kids and want to see them develop a relationship with Jesus, our Kids Team you! Be a part of a little mind’s first impression of Christ by getting them started on a faith journey for Jesus.
Positions
Minister to our children in an age-appropriate environment through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities and personal interactions.
Time: 1 hour

Background Check Required
Kids learn how to hear the voice of God and know His love through worship, prayer, listening, and journaling. You’ll serve as a mentor and small group leader with the kids. You can choose which age group you interact with.

Provide a warm smile and help families get their children checked into Kids Ministry.
Time: 1 hour
Age: 18+
Background Check Required
Lead a Kids small group on Wednesday Nights, discipling kids through topics and activities that you are passionate about.

Worship & Production
If you’re a musician or just have a heart for Worship, lead the congregation into God’s presence or operate the equipment that makes it all possible.
Positions
Use your vocal and musical talents to lead unforgettable worship experiences that reflect the diversity of our church family. Rehearsals on Thursdays.
Time: 7 hour
Age: 13+
Capture video and photo footage that helps others see what God sees at Cornerstone.
Time: 3 hour
Age: 12+
Our front of house audio engineer is one that requires an ear for music as well as the experience of mixing a live band. This position is one of the more critical because it serves the experience of everyone in the room.
Time: 7 hour
Age: 18+
Use technology to deliver the Word and worship through projection and other visual elements. Good computer skills and attention span required. Training provided.
Time: 7 hour
Age: 14+
You’ll increase the reach of God’s Word by capturing the entire service experience for our online campus and future viewers. Operate production video switcher and related equipment. Training Provided.
Time: 5.5 hour
Age: 15+
This team connects with guests of Cornerstone from around the world, encouraging, praying for and building relationships with those who attend church online.
Time: 1.5 hour
Age: 14+
Leading Others
Starting a Small Group or working with Cornerstone Youth is a great way to pour into the lives of others and truly make a difference.
Positions
This team hosts small groups, offering a place for people to find meaningful community. Small group leaders host groups based on topics or activities they are passionate about.
Time: Varies
Age: 18+
Helps students grades 6th -12th get connected through Youth Worship Services, small groups, retreats, conferences and mission’s trips.
Time: 2 hours weekly
Age: 18+
Background Check Required
This team hosts Welcome Lunch by facilitating content, providing refreshments and building relationships.
Time: 1.5 hour
Age: 18+
Events & Admin
If you love being behind the scenes and working to make things happen, these event setup and administrative opportunities are for you!
Positions
Safety & security is one of our top priorities. As you prayer-walk our facility and grounds on Sundays, you’ll also help keep our church family safe following a simple safety protocol.
Time: 2 hour
Age: 18+
Background Check Required
This team works behind the scenes to maintain and support every area of our church, including conferences and special events. Serves by setting up tables, chairs, decorations and facilitating meals and snacks.
Time: Varies
Age: 13+
This team prepares for and hosts Water Baptism experiences. Best for a family serving together. Come on a Saturday and setup the baptism tank or break it down after service. Will need to work independently.
Time: 2 hour
Age: 13+
Use your hands-on giftings and talents to provide care and maintenance to our facility and church grounds.
Time: Varies
Age: 11+
This team helps facilitate the staff by answering the phones and welcome visitors to the front office during the work week. Training provided.
Time: 3 hour
Age: 18+
Use your gifts of cooking and hospitality to prepare and assist with meals for Cornerstone events.
Time: Varies
Age: 18+
Outreach
Do you have a heart to meet physical needs through outreach? Cornerstone has several ways you can get plugged in to serve these needs.
Positions
Cornerstone Revitalization Center works to identify needs of the residents in a nearby economically depressed area and meet these needs while showing the love of Jesus. Ways to serve include tutoring, special events, career mentoring, maintenance, and prayer.
