The Stone Was Rolled Away!

We must never lose perspective that Jesus has risen! We are called to share the good news that the stone was rolled away.

1. Jesus appears to you and I on our everyday paths. Jesus commanded us in verses 15-16 to share the good news (Gospel) to those we know and love who are w/o Christ. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to believers so that we would have great power in witnessing.

2. Jesus appears to His disciples. Because He knew that we would become discouraged, Jesus appeared to other disciples to build us up and encourage us. God’s grace always flows through the body of Christ.

3. Jesus appears to those who won’t recognize Him. The very people Jesus was closest to questioned that He had risen from the dead. We must recognize there will be those who deny God’s transforming power working inside of us.

Have you placed your faith in God’s mission? Read Hebrews 10:23. The Holy Spirit fills us with clarity when our lives are dependent on His mission. Do you feel all alone? Practice fellowship in the body of Christ (2 Corinthians 13:11). Have you become discouraged by those who don’t recognize Christ in you? Keep sharing about Jesus, and choose joyfully to share in the sufferings of your Savior.

Whether you are at home, driving from place to place, or experiencing intense hardships, Jesus wants to remind you that the stone was rolled away. Let Jesus clear the stones out of your life so that you may know the Cornerstone of everyday life.
