Acts 1:8 says, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.”
The purpose of receiving His power is not to keep to ourselves but, to be witnesses and to tell what we have seen, heard, and experienced in Jesus. When we receive power, the Holy Spirit gives us the power lay hands on the sick and they receive healing. He gives us the power to cast out demons so that people are set free, and the boldness to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!
In Matthew 20:29-34, this scripture reading tells of the two blind men who were healed by the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s the same power that caused them to follow Christ! Receive his power today so that you and others may experience Jesus.
