Acts 3:19 reads, “Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”
Repent – meaning a change of mind, or a commitment to personal change. A turning to God allows us to experience times of refreshing from the presence of God.
Matthew 16:24 tell us that in order to be followers of Christ, we must turn from our wicked ways.
The day of spiritual blessing, and the day of miracles, is not in the past. We can still get our eyes on the Lord and receive refreshing outpourings of the Holy Spirit. Choose to be a follower of Christ today. Turn from your ways and allow the Holy Spirit to refresh you.
