Jesus the Center

“Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone” – Ephesians 2:20
The Bible calls Jesus the chief cornerstone because He is what brings and fits everything in this life together.
Discipleship is how we do our part in making Jesus the center of everyday life through four simple daily priorities.

To know Jesus is to follow him daily.

Take steps to Follow Jesus daily. God wants us to Know Him– not just with our minds, but with our hearts. He wants to know us personally and relationally.

“But Keep Growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18

Join the family and walk with someone.

You can’t see tomorrow without settling yesterday. We were not made to do life alone; God created us for community.  Joining the church and joining a small group provides a place for you to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together.

“Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” James 5:16

We are called to partner with God.

Jesus calls us to be His light in dark places by using the time, talents and treasures He has given us for His glory and not our own. We are called to partner with God to create and care for life in this world and in the people around us.

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

Everyone can impact the Kingdom.

We were all created to make a difference in the world around us. God puts us in spheres of influence to reach lost people.  He has a place for you where your unique abilities and passions can impact the lives of others.

“This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” John 15:8,11
