Let’s be honest, haven’t you ever felt bad for Moses? I mean think about all he put up with for those forty years in the desert. But the Lord reminded me that our actions have consequences that sometimes cannot be negated. I have made poor choices and occasionally God in His infinite grace smoothed things out and I escaped the after-effects. … Read More

32 “Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak,     and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. 2 May my teaching drop as the rain,     my speech distill as the dew, like gentle rain upon the tender grass,     and like showers upon the herb. 3 For I will proclaim the name of the Lord;     ascribe greatness to our God! 4 “The Rock, his work is perfect,     for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity,     just and upright is he. 5 They have dealt corruptly with him;     they are no longer his children because they are blemished;     they are a … Read More

Joshua to Succeed Moses 31 So Moses continued to speak these words to all Israel. 2 And he said to them, “I am 120 years old today. I am no longer able to go out and come in. The Lord has said to me, ‘You shall not go over this Jordan.’ 3 The Lord your God himself will go over before you. He will destroy these nations before you, so that you shall dispossess them, and Joshua will go over at your head, as the Lord has spoken. 4 And the Lord will do to them as he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, … Read More
